It's hard to blame Minnesota players for being excited. After all, by beating Penn State 24-10 on Saturday the Gophers won their fourth consecutive Big Ten game for the first time in 40 years, improving to 8-2 in the process.
The win also allowed Minnesota to get it's hands on the Governor's Victory Bell Trophy and OH NO, THE GOPHERS GOT THEIR HANDS ON THE GOVERNOR'S VICTORY BELL!
R.I.P. Governor's Victory Bell Trophy 1993-2013. It never got to see its 21st birthday and experience the delicous taste of legal booze on its tongue.
